Have you remembered to care for yourself yet today? It seems our days are sometimes started for us by a blaring alarm clock followed by a long “TO DO” list and a limited amount of time. It’s easy to get caught up in the “doings” of the day. DO yourself a favor, and take a moment twice a day to just BE for a few seconds.  Just BE.  Be YOU!
I remember going to a workshop years ago where we were to develop a vision statement for our life. This was nearly 30 years ago, but I still remember the one I created for myself:

“ I am a Christed Being of Light”
“Thriving on Mother Earth”
“Safe in my joy”; “Receiving grace”
“As every moment of every day, I just be me”

Take a moment to just “BE YOU” whenever you can. Merely take a deep breath, close your eyes, shut out everything you hear, and focus your full attention on “The Center Core of Your Individual Unlimitedness”.  Just breathe deeply into the Core of Your Being and all else simply falls away.

I was very sick in the past. And I can remember once when I thought I was going to die, I looked back on my life, and do you know what the one biggest regret would have been at that time?  It will surprise you.  I regretted (and would have taken back if I could) all the many days I had gone to work when I was too sick to be there.  More than anything, at that time of my life, I realized I had not cared for myself at the times when I had needed it most.

It is now some 20 years later and I work for myself. And when I am sick, I don’t work! I honor myself with rest and healing energies. I was in the habit of “putting others first” all the time. This meant that my needs, if met at all, we’re always met last!  This will eventually destroy one’s image of their Own Divinity. And you will begin to believe the lies society says are truths.
So please, take care of yourself today!
And have FUN with it!

  1. Thank you for the reminder! It seems to me that many of us struggle with the concept of taking care of ourselves. My physical body is very good at telling me when I’ve done too much. One form of wisdom is listening to the warning whispers of the body rather than waiting for the full out shouting! Sending you love and healing.

  2. A wonderful reminder.
And, for me personally, a lesson still being learned over again from time to time when I push beyond my body’s limits.

    The body knows. 💜
